I used the first chance I got and I participated in a protest to say "No to wars", but that was not enough. I then started working with some associations, for peace, and I participate in some peace conferences that helped developed my skills. I began to focus on youth, teaching them what the real meaning of war was, and that there are much more ways to solve our problem without wars.

I belong to the Sindh [culture], which is made up of a community of loving and caring people. Actually, it was in my Sindh village where an older man first inspired me. He was known [in my village] for helping others without asking for anything in return. One day I asked this man, “why do you help others without asking to be compensated”? Anything positive, whether it be sunshine or spring rain. It inspires me to be a a bold person who can teach people to love life and be spirited in everything you do.
